Talent Acquisition Partner

The HR Talent Acquisition Partner will provide a wide range of HR support to the Canada business. This role will work closely with the HR Manager and Hiring Managers to provide world class, full cycle recruiting support to meet the needs of the organization in a timely and cost effective manner. The Talent Partner will also provide administrative support on key HR programs, processes and initiatives that are aligned with the company’s business objectives. This includes such activities as employee onboarding, system administration, reporting and data analysis, and continuous improvement recommendations.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities :

Talent Acquisition:

  • Partner with Global Talent Acquisition team to ensure alignment with global TA initiatives and process improvement activities

  • Lead the recruitment efforts for all salaried and hourly hiring across Canada

  • Partner with HR and Hiring Leaders to develop recruitment strategies, understand position requirements, set expectations, and maintain communications throughout the talent acquisition process

  • Develop position profiles and postings that are thorough and attractive to potential candidates

  • Review and screen resumes obtained from all sources and manage all candidate tracking and status updates in the Applicant Tracking System, WorkDay

  • Conduct phone screens, provide candidate assessments, and recommend viable candidates to hiring manager for further consideration

  • Source candidates through job postings, referrals, and direct sourcing using proactive tactics (social media, networking, and niche resources, etc.)

  • Lead / facilitate candidate interview feedback session; provide follow up on interview as necessary

  • Partner closely with HR and Compensation to manage the selection and offer process including: offer formulation, recommendation, and approval process; extension of verbal offer; offer acceptance and new hire start process

  • Manage all candidate communications and information to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the talent acquisition process

  • Enter and maintain integrity of data in recruiting system and produce ad hoc recruiting reports as necessary, including preparation of monthly talent acquisition dashboards

  • Facilitate national employee orientation onboarding for all Canadian new hires

  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the onboarding process through voice-of-the-customer data collection (such as surveys) and feedback

  • Collect new hire forms and verify on-boarding forms are completed, processed, and in compliance with provincial laws.

HR Administration:

  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Recommend courses of action based on the data collection and analysis to assist in continuous improvement efforts

  • Assist with preparation for talent discussions with senior leadership

  • Provide backup support for HR Generalist

  • Support other HR projects as assigned

Position Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or related field

  • Strong working knowledge of computer applications including all Microsoft Office applications

  • A minimum of 3 years in recruiting with some time spent recruiting for national roles in sales organizations with large remote employee populations

  • Demonstrated capability in providing candidate assessments and conducting in person interviews is required

  • Must have a strong foundation and understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies

  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking, Talent Management and or HR Information Systems and reporting; comfortable working with HR technology platforms

  • Strong planning, organizational, multi-tasking and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess a sold method for follow up activities

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in and promote a positive culture that is collaborative and service-oriented

  • Ability to maintain highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
