Allegion Project Manager in Faenza, Italy
This role is required to support our Project Management Office department in taking control and managing projects related to New Product Development, Product Features Enhancement, Productivity, Problem Solving, Make vs Buy within the Mechanical and Electronics business lines across the EMEIA region. It is also required to support the PMO in the integration and standardization of the processes, best practices and methods across the business lines teams.
The support required will cover one or more tasks from the below listed.
The Project Manager will be responsible to lead some projects or sub-projects and / or support assigned project leaders from other functions to ensure the overall success and on time achievement of defined deliverables (typically revenues, costs, quality), following the right process. He/she will be charged with creating and monitoring plans, establishing and driving cross- functional team reviews, assessing risk factors to product/process success, escalating issues and providing an array of the best options for management review.
Plans, deploys and leads Projects that will produce significant cost savings, revenue and margin increase and develops strategic products for the Corporation.
Provide leadership to clarify tasks, document plans, provide project updates, team coordination and control in managing projects cross-functionally.
Attend, in some cases lead, operational and technical meetings to determine project timing, identify risks and develop solution and execution plans to meet projects objectives.
Successful and on-time execution of all projects avoiding erroneous decisions that could potentially results in critical delays in schedules and/or affecting BL targets.
Conduct project status and gate reviews presentation to PMO, cross-functional groups and peers highlighting risks / concerns, potential projects impacts and possible solutions.
Identify any opportunity to share resources, plans, technical solutions, sub-projects, within the projects and teams across the business lines.
Effectively use metrics and keep update the project records to assess project performance and drive execution.Candidate needs a proven experience in project management in a complex and cross-functional environment, matrix organization, along with knowledge of business operations including marketing, business development, sales, finance, manufacturing, engineering and sourcing.In addition must possess excellent communication and leadership skills; capability to effectively manage risks and drive to meet project commitments despite setbacks or challenges in schedule, performance and costs. Capable to solve resources conflicts and capable to facilitate technical problem solving. Qualifications Basic Requirements:
Knowledge of business operations including marketing, business development, sales, finance, manufacturing, quality, engineering and sourcing.
Project management experience in complex (matrix) organization and projects.
Project management training (PMP certification preferred).
Fluent in English.
Proficient w/ MS Office tools including MS Project.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
BS in Engineering or Operations or other analytical discipline.
