Sr. Analyst, Procure to Pay-Carmel, IN (Hybrid)
Position Overview :
Working within Allegion’s Supply Management team, you will be responsible for supporting procurement activities which includes educating our suppliers on our ever- changing needs and providing purchasing consulting to our internal customers. Utilizing our operating system(s) and processes, you will perform activities at various stages of the strategic sourcing process aimed at sustaining supply of products & services, improving customer loyalty and enabling growth in both revenue and profitability.
What You Will Do:
Fully comprehend Allegion’s key purchasing requirements, including how our category strategy aligns with broader business strategies; work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
Efficiently handle all transactional procurement activity from purchase requests thru payment reconciliation
Liaise with internal and external customers to understand their requirements for purchases
Utilize procurement systems and processes to convey purchase requests through the steps of purchase requisition entry, budgetary approvals, purchase order conversion, internal / external confirmations, invoice processing and payment
Provide customer support to business owners and suppliers
Support compliance with contracted payment terms and resolve issues
Own, maintain and upgrade internal systems and processes related to procurement
Review and analyze internal processes; streamline processes to improve turnaround times and increase customer satisfaction; identify KPIs to effectively track team performance and report to organization leadership
Respond timely to information requests; proactively gather and analyze data; investigate / resolve / escalate opportunities and issues
Ensure adherence and compliance with established company guidelines and policies, audit requirements and industry regulations
Collaborate with Peers to manage the Procure-to-Pay team technology and tools; partner with category strategy team to identify improvements and with IT team for implementation, act as project manager to design, configure and implement new tools that are used by Procure-to-Pay and category strategy teams
Standardize processes, streamline communication, train internal customers and new hires on the various procurement processes
Maintain work instructions for Procure-to-Pay team members, updating and training as duties and regulations change
Develop and manage training documentation for internal customers; engage new hires as part of onboarding and identify training opportunities for existing employees to ensure that interactions with the procurement group are streamlined from initial engagement through purchase order issue and invoice payment
Support card (travel and expense, procurement) services as required
Support Category Managers with gathering of market intelligence data for respective Indirect Category of spends
Supports Category Managers in search of qualified diversity suppliers for RFx opportunities in support of growth metrics for the Allegion Supplier Diversity Program.
What You Need to Succeed:
BS/BA degree with 2-5 years’ experience or HS Diploma/GED or Associate level degree with 7+ years of experience required
Prior experience in procurement at a global public company. Demonstrated skills in rigorous, fact-based analyses that drive creative problem solving, proposal preparation, and negotiation
Strong leadership qualities including effective interpersonal, and project management skills
Persuasive written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities, with a high level of attention to detail
Commitment to continuous improvement, motivated ‘can-do’ attitude, and results-oriented
Team player who can work with cross functional and international teams
