Financial Analyst - Carmel, Indiana (Hybrid)
As a Financial Analyst at our organization, you will play a crucial role in tracking and analyzing financial data related to various channel initiatives. Your responsibilities will include monitoring revenue performance, managing accruals, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will interact with all levels within the organization. This role can be hybrid based out of our Carmel, Indiana office.
What You Will Do:
Track, analyze, and provide insights on programs within the business.
Collaborate with sales teams within each program.
Manage, monitor utilization on all programs and assess their impact on profitability.
Prepare accruals and journal entries.
Assist in preparing financial reports related to programs.
Ensure accurate accruals for commitments (e.g., marketing spend, promotional activities, utilization).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate accrual amounts.
Manage and reconcile prepaid accounts/expenses and ensure proper accruals.
Support programs related to business development funds (BDF), sales performance incentive funds (SPIF), and detailing.
Analyze program effectiveness and ROI.
Prepare financial reports and provide recommendations for program enhancements.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
1-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
Experience with Oracle and AX software is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
