Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day-to-day QA Activities.

• Good Analytical and communication skills.

• Building the Automation Framework from the scratch and working with teams in developing and maintaining the scripts

• Strong programming experience with Java and or JavaScript ( JavaScript exposure is must ) .

• Exposure to TypeScript would be added advantage .

• Good hands-on experience in backend and front-end testing.

• Basic knowledge of Database like SQL

• Strong knowledge on Rest API testing concepts with hands-on in API test automation.

• Expertise in test automation tools/framework like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Jasmine, JEST, Cucumber.

• Strong knowledge on cloud – AWS/Azure/GCP and willing to learn different cloud technology.

• Have expert knowledge in testing concepts, test process, test design skills and testing techniques.

• Have exposure to Azure DevOps toolor other test management tool for maintaining test cases, updating the test results and sending the test updates to leads/Manager on timely basis.

• Have experience in creating and maintaining CI\CD pipelines.

• Basic knowledge in authentication mechanisms and security testing.

• Has experience in functional and nonfunctional testing.

• Active member of a highly skilled and motivated testing team

• Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions.

• Engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups.

• Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues.

• Peer reviews for code and design to reduce test-ability issues

• Onsite experience in testing at customer or partner sites would be beneficial

• Excellent communication and written skills

• Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required.

• Worked in Agile environment

Desired Skills & Abilities:

• Exposure to Node.JS based framework like Jest, Jasmine and Mocha.

• Has exposure in performing security and performance testing

• Experience with integrated test environments would be added advantage

• Good system level debugging skills are an advantage.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast paced environment

• Willing to travel across geographical boundaries based on the business need.

Required Education and Experience:

• Engineering bachelors or master’s degree/MCA

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
