IT ERP Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of complex programs within our organization. As a ERP Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals, and delivering them within scope, timeline, and budget. This role requires the ability to effectively lead and influence a diverse team, overseeing the entire ERP program lifecycle, from conception to completion, ensuring successful testing and delivery of complex ERP projects within scope, timeline and budget. Primary contacts will include executive program sponsors, business capability leaders (i.e. finance, supply chain, manufacturing) and core and extended IT and functional support team members.

What You Will Do:

  • Program Planning and Strategy: Develop program plans, objectives, and strategies in alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Define project scopes, deliverables, and success criteria.

  • Project Execution and Management: Lead and manage the execution of multiple projects within the program, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards. Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and manage project risks.

  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, clients, and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project deliverables meet their needs.

  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including project team members, contractors, and external vendors. Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project success.

  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting of project costs. Monitor financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.

  • Communication and Reporting: Establish effective communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and issues. Prepare and present regular program status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth project implementation and adoption. Anticipate and address resistance to change and facilitate organizational readiness for project outcomes.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices. Implement quality assurance processes and conduct regular project audits to identify areas for improvement.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management methodologies, tools, and processes. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and optimize project outcomes.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, promoting professional growth and development.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Master's degree or certification in project management is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an ERP Program Manager, successfully managing and delivering complex projects.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of regulated systems, including Sarbanes-Oxley.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working in a global environment, working with teams in different time zones and cultures.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving project objectives.

  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
